Serious Factory will unveil its pedagogical innovations in the service of education at the 4th Innovative Learning Space Summit in Barcelona

A place for exchanges bringing together experts in training and research

The 4th Innovative Learning Space Summit is an event focusing on educational innovation for education that will take place from 19 to 20 September 2019 in Barcelona. It will bring together school principals, university deans, educational designers and architects and other experts from the training sector to discuss new solutions for learning and skills development. This event is therefore an opportunity for Serious Factory to demonstrate its expertise in digital training and Immersive Learning as well as its approach dedicated to the education sector with reverse class approaches.

Serious Factory is committed to working with schools to develop pedagogical innovation

This event is therefore ideal to allow Serious Factory to share its expertise as an Edtech expert. Thanks to its experience in pedagogical engineering and Gamification, Serious Factory offers a set of tools to enrich its pedagogical project: contextualization of knowledge (animated course materials, dialogue videos, case studies…), pedagogical individualization (practical work, realistic situations…), motivation and involvement of learners (reverse class, Serious Game, simulation…).

The Virtual Training Suite software solution thus supports teachers and learners in new pedagogical approaches that now go beyond the “gadget” stage. For example, the inverted class. In particular, it relies on new technologies to take advantage of valuable classroom time. In this context, authoring software seems to be particularly well suited to these issues. Used by the teacher, they make it possible to prepare personalized learning situations and more interactive contexts. Used by learners, they help to restore and formalize knowledge, then translate it into skills and behaviours.

In this context, the authoring software VTS Editor gives teachers the opportunity to prepare concrete scenarios to facilitate learning in the classroom and to work on putting the lessons into practice. On the learner side, they can produce scenarios in small groups to demonstrate that they have understood the concepts and are able to reproduce them in the form of concrete examples. These scenarios can then be used by other students.

Combined with a simplified deployment platform and a free application to play the experiments, this authoring software meets the challenges of an interactive and enriching classroom and provides students with many educational benefits:
– Become an actor in your learning,
– Evolve at your own pace,
– To have new value-added resources to better understand the lessons and train in concrete situationsG
– Encourage collaboration and debate around sometimes complex concepts,
– Practice more on problematic learning through practice.

A presentation to show the potential of Virtual Training Suite

Serious Factory will present its educational solutions on Friday, September 20 at 11:45 am. For this occasion, Julien Kokkinos, Customer Experience & Relations Director, and Patrick Gadat, Expert Digital Learning, EdTech & Simulation, will show you during a presentation how to create a simple immersive 3D simulation step by step with VTS Editor. They will also exchange with the participants on a dedicated stand with the possibility of testing scenarios in virtual reality helmets.
